We made some updates to the system, and are aware that there are bugs when delivering updates. We will always solve the bugs once we encounter them. The current update includes:
- We limit up to 5 answers per question. Since most questions being asked only require one answer, some might suggest more than one is required. We limit the answers to five so we get a full quality check by comparing the answers. Upvotes will enhance an answers credibility.
- The payout is now tiered to incentivize people to answer sooner: The first answer receives 100% payout, the second 75%, the third 75% of the second, the fourth 75% of the third and the fifth 75% of the fourth payout.
What we are going to update (The future)
- We intend to introduce Mediators, these are subscribers who take on an active upvote role. They will be paid 10% of the value of the answer they are upvoting. It will require at least 2 upvotes for an answer to be approved for payment. We introduced this to counter copycats that are simply answering a question by copying the answer above theirs. Also, this will prevent people from answering binary questions 5 times. (A binary question is a question that has only one correct answer). Anyone can apply to be a mediator, however, mediators will be monitored and if any mediator is found to be corrupt or fake, they will be removed from the site and will lose all their tokens.
- We will add our fuzzy logic algorithm (FLA)which will check for identical questions and block an identical question from being asked. The FLA is rudimentary for now, but will evolve to block “similarity” questions who ask the same question using different syntax. The FLA will only focus on questions, as the answers will be dealt with by the mediators (as explained above).
