Fuzzy. One has opened up a partnership with a local marketing and sales company with offices in Manila, Cebu & Davao in the Philippines and is starting to reach out to local businesses, college students and rideshare drivers. The new partnership is targeting students across the Philippines with a potential target of over 2.5 million college students as a beta for the information platform and to initiate the cyclic marketing model.

The reasons behind opening our first beta site up in the Philippines are based on the business model that Fuzzy. One is based upon:

  1. A weak economic community where 90% of the population lives at or under the poverty line.
  2. A language barrier where local business is conducted in Tagalog or Visaya.
  3. A large population base of over 100 million people.
  4. A lack of validated information.

Miguel Fernandez from the Manila offices said “We intend to start operations during June. For the first few weeks, we will be conducting local research and reaching out to all the student bodies and organizations with the aim of maximising our reach across the archipelago of the Philippines.”

Ian Kano, Founder of Fuzzy. One stated “The beta will also act as a debug for the kick-off apps that we integrate over the next few months. Together with the local market, we will hone our focus, create a better UX and be ready to reach out across the ASEAN market by August.

Sameer Bakhru, CEO of Fuzzy. One added “Our intent is to reach a community base of over 2 million by the end of July. This is an extremely tall order and hard attainable target. However, if we don't challenge ourselves and live outside of our comfort zone we will not evolve. We challenge ourselves to adapt to hardships and change to ensure our products and services meet the ever-increasing demands of our growing community.”
